Serifos is the rugged, unpolished island of the western Cyclades: a port village at Livadi with a sandy bay, a white Chora spilling over the hilltop above, and a mining past you can still see in the landscape. Paros is the natural next step for many travellers, with ferries to Athens, Naxos and Mykonos and an airport.

Our route data lists Seajets on Serifos to Paros as a seasonal service, and the record for the opposite direction also names Blue Star Ferries, but no Ferryhopper route page or dated sailing confirms either. We have not published the crossing time or fare from those records, which look generic rather than checked.
Fortunately, the connection through Sifnos is strong. Serifos to Sifnos is one of the shortest hops in the west, 20 to 50 minutes, with sailings on 6 to 7 days a week all year, and Sifnos has Seajets and Blue Star boats to Paros on 2 to 7 days a week. Milos is a second option: Serifos to Milos takes about 1 hr 10 min to 1 hr 25 min on Seajets, and Milos to Paros runs all year.
Before booking, decide whether you would enjoy a night on Sifnos, which makes the trip relaxed and turns it into two islands instead of one. If you need to reach Paros the same day, choose connections with at least an hour between them, and avoid planning a flight from Paros for that afternoon.
