The best time to visit Iraklia is April, May, October. These months offer ideal weather (around 25°C), warm sea temperatures and fewer crowds than peak season. May-June, September are excellent shoulder-season options.
In August, Iraklia experiences Low crowd levels during the Greek holiday season and prime Meltemi winds. Prices are at their peak (€€).
Iraklia is heavily influenced by the Meltemi winds between June and September. This keeps the island cool but can affect high-speed ferry crossings.
