To experience the authentic charm of Antiparos-cycling to the beaches, exploring the cave, and dining in the Chora without waiting lists-June is exceptional. The days are long, and the camping crowd has yet to reach peak density. September offers the warmest water, ideal for swimming at Soros or Apantima.

Wind and Watersports

The channel between Paros and Antiparos (Pounda) is one of the world's premier kitesurfing destinations due to the Venturi effect of the Meltemi. For kitesurfers, July and August are the target months, offering consistent, strong winds. For regular beachgoers, the eastern side of Antiparos offers shelter, but the afternoon wind can be significant.
