01Local notes
Mykonos restaurants: beyond the waterfront markup.
Mykonos dining has a reputation for eye-watering prices, but the best restaurants in Mykonos balance quality with value. Joanna's Niko's Place in Megali Ammos serves legendary moussaka. Kiki's Tavern at Agios Sostis has no electricity, no phone, and a queue that forms at 11 AM, because it's that good. For fine dining, Roca Cookery and Katrin redefine Mediterranean cuisine.
