Iraklia is the smallest inhabited island in the Small Cyclades, a place where you'll find the sacred Cave of Agios Ioannis hides stalactites in its depths, beaches are empty even in August, and accommodation means a room above a taverna with a sea view. - The Express Skopelitis from Naxos (1–1.5h), or limited Blue Star sailings from Piraeus (7–9h). It's the first stop on the Small Cyclades line.
- Among the cheapest in Greece: rooms from €20/night, the best studios €50–85 in August.
- Agios Georgios for tavernas, the beach and the port; Livadi if the beach is the whole point. Panagia suits hikers heading for the cave.
