The Venetian Kastro built from recycled ancient marble in Parikia, and the windmill above Naoussa harbour, are Paros's classic golden-hour spots. For the best panorama, drive up to the mountain village of Lefkes, whose marble lanes and Byzantine churches look out over terraced hills to the sea, and walk a stretch of the old Byzantine Road below it.
