Andros has some of the most unspoilt beaches in the Cyclades, many backed by greenery rather than bare rock. Achla and Vitali are remote, pristine bays reached by dirt roads or on foot. Golden Beach (Chrissi Ammos) and Batsi are the organised, family choices, while Tis Grias to Pidima frames a striking sea-stack rock formation, one of the island's signature swims.
