Ferry tracker Greece.
Ferry tracker for Greece: every ferry between Athens and the Cyclades on one live AIS map. Find your boat, see its ETA against today’s timetable, and open the arrivals board for your port. Cancellations and port notices are on the ferry alerts page. Today’s Seajets status is explained below.
Seajets ferry status today
- 01
Search Seajets
Type Seajets in the search under this section, or the vessel name on your ticket. Live now means the ship is broadcasting AIS. Position unavailable means there is no recent position. That is not a delay or a cancellation, and it does not prove AIS is switched off.
- 02
Open a port board
Choose Piraeus, Rafina, Mykonos, Santorini or another port. Today’s arrivals come from Ferryhopper. A name match shows the scheduled time. The live ETA is distance divided by recent speed, so it does not confirm a delay.
- 03
Read cancellations separately
Suspensions and port notices are on the ferry alerts page. Seajets also posts its own notices at seajets.gr. This page does not turn those notices into a live status board.

03How to read it
What the tracker tells you.
Where each answer comes from, and how sure it is.
Live positions
Ships broadcast AIS every few seconds at sea. The map shows every vessel seen in the last 20 minutes as soon as you open it.
Matched to the timetable
A matching Ferryhopper sailing confirms the timetable leg and scheduled times. It does not confirm an actual departure or delay.
Likely route
The crew-reported destination and ETA may be outdated. They do not confirm the next stop or arrival.
Delays
Distance divided by recent speed is only an approximate sailing time. It cannot confirm arrival, delay or on-time status.
Port boards
Each port lists today’s arrivals from Ferryhopper, refreshed every 10 minutes, with the live status of every ferry.
Alerts and sea
Ports named in a live ferry alert are ringed in coral. The sea forecast for the destination comes from a 5-day marine forecast.
04Questions
Ferry tracker questions.
How can I track a Greek ferry in real time?
Open the tracker and type the ferry’s name in the search box. The map centres on it and shows its speed, route, distance to go and live ETA.
Is my ferry late?
Distance divided by recent speed is only an approximate sailing time. It cannot confirm arrival, delay or on-time status.
Why can’t I find my ferry on the map?
A usable AIS observation is unavailable. Check the sailing timetable and operator notices. Missing data does not confirm that AIS is switched off.
Where does the ferry position come from?
Positions come from AIS, the radio signal every passenger ship sends with its location, speed and heading. Timetables and alerts come from Ferryhopper.
What does this ferry tracker show?
This Greece ferry tracker is a live AIS map of ferries between Athens and the Cyclades. Search a ferry by name to see the position it has broadcast, or open a port board of today’s arrivals. A matching Ferryhopper sailing confirms the planned leg and scheduled times. It does not confirm that the ship has departed, or how late it is.
How do I check Seajets ferry status today?
Type Seajets in the search on this page. Live now means that ship is broadcasting AIS. Position unavailable means there is no recent position. That is not a delay or a cancellation, and it does not prove AIS is switched off. Open a port board for today’s arrivals. A Ferryhopper name match shows the scheduled time. The live ETA is an estimate from distance and recent speed. For suspensions and port notices, open the ferry alerts page. Discover Cyclades is not affiliated with Seajets.
Is this the official Seajets status page?
No. Discover Cyclades runs this tracker. It reads public AIS positions and Ferryhopper timetables and notices. It does not speak for Seajets and it does not publish a delay rate. Confirm a cancelled sailing on the ferry alerts page or at seajets.gr before you change plans.
