Ios Chora: The Party Hub
Ios Town (Chora) has Greece's most concentrated bar street, dozens of bars within a 200-metre walk. Slammers, Fun Pub, Blue Note, and the Ios Club anchor the nightlife scene. Bars open at 9pm, clubs run until 4–5am. The atmosphere is friendly and unpretentious, the opposite of Mykonos.
Mylopotas Beach Party Scene
Mylopotas is Ios's main beach (2km of golden sand). Far Out Beach Club hosts daily beach parties with DJs, bungee trampolines, and water sports. Harmony Beach Bar offers a more relaxed vibe. Many beachside hostels organise pub crawls and events.
Ios vs Mykonos Nightlife
Ios is for those who want all-night parties without VIP prices. Drinks cost €7–€12 (vs €18–€25 in Mykonos). Ios has more of a backpacker/hostel culture; Mykonos has luxury hotels and celebrity sightings. Both are excellent, just different vibes.
