Watersports and Winds
Like Naxos, Paros (specifically the Pounda side) is a world-class kitesurfing destination hosting world championships. The Meltemi in July and August provides the necessary fuel for this sport.
Religious Spectacle
Paros is home to the Panagia Ekatontapiliani (Church of 100 Doors). On August 15th, the procession and celebration here are second only to Tinos. It is a massive event with fireworks in the harbor of Parikia.
Nightlife
Naoussa is the epicenter of chic nightlife. It is buzzing from late June to early September. For a quieter, more relaxed Paros, the south of the island (Golden Beach) in September is ideal.
