We had the most amazing time on Spiridakos for the sunset cruise. I saw so many other Spiridakos boats out on the water, and afterwards I knew why. From the start, they pick you up right from your hotel, which after trying to navigate anywhere in Santorini you'll be absolutely greatful for. Once you get to the dock, they greet you warmly and welcome you aboard. For our boat there was a max of 20 guests (we had 17), and it was the perfect amount of people. Everyone had enough room to lounge and enjoy the boat between stops. Getting to jump off into the Agean Sea was wonderful if a bit cold in late May. The crew told us small bits of history of the island and the composition of the rocks we saw. One of the crew said she had only been doing tours for a month, but we couldn't tell with how great she was. The dinner for the premium cruise was great with a nice variety of food. I really enjoyed the grilled chicken. The variety on our cruise for drinks was beer, wine, coke, orange Fanta, sprite, white wine, and water. Captain John really made the trip special. As the sun went down, he played fun music and started Greek dancing. We all clapped along, and we all ended up dancing. We ended up sailing close to another Spiridakos boat and started having a dance off with them and their captain. We got a magnificent view of the sunset, and I would definitely do it over the daytime cruise just for that alone. As for the difference if you're between the premium and the standard cruise, you can't go wrong with either. The Thirasia stop, the beer, and the extra meats was the main difference I believe. We were more than happy with the premium, but you won't go wrong with the standard as well. Overall we had a fantastic time and of all the things you can do in Santorini this is a must do! , Excellent!

Frequently asked questions
- Are life jackets provided?
- For the safety of all passengers, during the swimming part of the cruise, we provide to everyone life jackets
- Do you offer vegan or vegetarian options?
- For catamaran cruises that include meals, you can request vegetarian/vegan options by noting your preference in the 'Notes' field on the checkout page.
- Is a catamaran cruise suitable for children?
- Yes, if your children are acquainted with the sea, they will love the catamaran ride. In addition, there is snorkeling equipment available on board. Don’t forget to take sunscreen, a hat and a light jacket with you.
- I am staying on an Airbnb. Am I entitled to pick-up service?
- Catamaran cruises offering pickup/drop-off services can collect you from anywhere in Santorini (or the nearest accessible road). Please provide your Airbnb details on the checkout page.
- I cannot swim - is it an issue?
- There are numerous things to do onboard - take delight in the catamaran ride and the amazing views of Santorini from the sea, sunbathe, and enjoy the meal the staff will prepare for you, or just relax with your drink on board!
- Is the sea in Santorini safe to swim in?
- Absolutely! Greece is one of the safest countries to swim in. You will be glad to know that sharks in the Aegean Sea ( usually from species such as dogfish) are harmless, sightings are extremely rare while attacks are unheard of! In addition, the waves are usually small, especially inside the Caldera where most boat cruises make stops for swimming. So, based on the above, if you enjoy swimming, snorkeling, or even diving... you are in the right place!
- I'm a cruise ship passenger. Where should we meet?
- Our starting port is Vlychada. Since most tender boats from cruise ships arrive at the Old Port of Fira, you will first need to take the cable car up to Fira. From there, please come to our office at least one hour prior to the start of your sailing cruise. Please note that it is not possible for us to arrange pick-up directly from the Old Port of Fira. In addition, we kindly ask you to inform us of the departure time of your last tender back to the cruise ship, so that we can ensure you have enough time for your return.
- Are there toilets on the Catamarans?
- All Catamaran vessels are fitted with toilets, for the use of guests onboard.
