🕳️ The Cave
1. The Cave of Antiparos
One of the oldest tourist attractions in Greece, a vast stalactite cavern descending more than 80m into the hillside via around 400 steps. Visitors have left inscriptions here since antiquity, including Lord Byron. Genuinely spectacular and the island's must-do.

2. The Venetian Kastro
At the heart of Chora stands a 15th-century Venetian fortress settlement, houses built around a central tower in a defensive square. Wander into the courtyard to see how it still functions as living homes.
3. The Main Street
Antiparos has one long, marble-paved pedestrian street lined with whitewashed houses, bougainvillea, tavernas and little shops. The evening volta (stroll) here is the social highlight of the day.

4. The Sanctuary of Despotiko
Off the southwest coast lies the uninhabited islet of Despotiko, home to a major Archaic sanctuary of Apollo currently under excavation and restoration. Reach it by boat trip and combine it with a swim off the gorgeous adjacent beaches.

5. Soros
A long, sheltered, sandy bay on the east coast with shallow water and good tavernas, the most family-friendly beach on the island.
6. The Psaraliki Beaches
Two adjacent sandy coves a short walk from Chora, shaded by tamarisk trees and perfect for an easy swim near town.
7. Sifneiko (Sunset Beach)
On the west coast facing Paros, the island's classic sunset beach, shallow and calm with a beach bar.
8. Agios Georgios
A string of quiet beaches at the southern tip looking across to Despotiko, where boats leave for the islet.

Antiparos is flat and small enough to explore on foot or by bike; quiet tracks link the beaches and the few hamlets.
