Mykonos Yacht Rental 2026: Day Charter Prices, Routes & Villa + Yacht Weeks

Last updated: July 8, 2026
Booking the whole week? Yacht days work best anchored to a villa. Start at the Mykonos Villas hub, then let THE ACE VIP — our Platinum partner for villas and yachts — run both on one concierge thread.
A yacht day out of Mykonos is not a luxury flex; it is the best way to see why the ancients put their sacred island, Delos, in the middle of this archipelago. But charter pricing here is opaque, the Meltemi wind can flatten a badly planned day, and the difference between a great operator and a listing-site boat is enormous.
Here is the operator-honest version.
Real 2026 charter prices
| Boat class | Shoulder (May–Jun, Sep–Oct) | Peak (Jul–Aug) |
|---|---|---|
| RIB / speedboat (up to 8) | €900–€1,600/day | €1,400–€2,500/day |
| Crewed catamaran (up to 12) | €2,500–€3,800/day | €4,000–€6,500/day |
| Motor yacht 50–65 ft | €3,500–€5,500/day | €5,500–€9,000/day |
| Motor yacht 70–90 ft | €6,000–€10,000/day | €9,000–€16,000/day |
| Superyacht 100 ft+ | from €15,000/day | from €20,000/day |
What's included varies — always confirm in writing. The standard crewed package covers skipper, deckhand, fuel for the normal route, snorkel gear, and water. Food, alcohol, beach club tenders, and Delos entry tickets are extra. Gratuity norm: 5–10% of the charter fee.
The routes worth doing
Delos & Rhenia — the classic (full day)
Morning departure from Tourlos or Ornos, 30–40 minutes to Rhenia's uninhabited turquoise coves for swimming and lunch at anchor, optional two-hour guided stop at the Delos UNESCO archaeological site (closed Mondays; last landing usually mid-afternoon), then a slow cruise back past the south coast with a sunset pass at Little Venice. This is the day people remember for years.
South-coast beach hop (half or full day)
Psarou → Platis Gialos → Paradise → Super Paradise → Elia by sea, with tender drops at the beach clubs. The Meltemi-sheltered option — when the north wind blows 30 knots, the south coast is often flat calm.
Overnight to Paros or the Small Cyclades
For 2–3 day charters: Paros (Naoussa dinner), Koufonisia's swimming-pool water, or Iraklia's quiet anchorages. Pairs beautifully with an island-hopping itinerary for the non-sailing days.
Meltemi: the one variable that ruins amateur planning
July and August bring the Meltemi — a dry northern gale that can run 25–35 knots for three days straight. What good operators do: hold your booking flexible across a 2–3 day window, run Rhenia's sheltered west side, or flip the route to the south coast. What listing-site boats do: cancel by SMS at 7am. This is the single strongest argument for chartering through an operator with skin in the island — the same logic as our villa vetting checklist.
We track wind patterns on the Cyclades weather dashboard — check the Meltemi forecast before you lock a date.
The villa + yacht week
The format that defines high-end Mykonos in 2026: a staffed villa as base camp, one or two yacht days placed against the best weather windows, chef on board from the villa kitchen, and the concierge moving the whole party between gate, marina, and beach club without anyone touching a phone.
Booking villa and yacht through one operator is materially better than assembling them separately — one contract, one deposit schedule, and the yacht day actually moves when the wind does. This is the core of what THE ACE VIP does: 816+ villas plus a crewed charter fleet under the same licence, benchmarked in our ultra-luxury week blueprint. For online villa booking to pair with a separate charter, Mykonos.Luxury is the Premium route.
Booking checklist
- Crewed, always — the Meltemi is not a visitor's learning environment
- Confirm inclusions in writing — fuel scope, food, Delos tickets, gratuity norms
- Flexible date window in July–August — weather beats calendars
- Licensed operator — same five trust signals as villa companies
- Book 4–8 weeks out for peak, earlier for 70 ft+
