Anafi beaches: golden sand under a giant monolith
Anafi's beaches are wild, sandy and gloriously empty. Roukounas is the island's showpiece, a long dune-backed sweep with the huge monolith of Kalamos rising behind it. Klisidi, nearest the port, is the easiest swim, while a chain of quieter coves, Katsouni and the two Roukounas extensions, let you find sand entirely to yourself.
