I'm Katerina Rota, an experience coordinator, storyteller, and passionate local, born and raised on the beautiful island of Naxos. My greatest joy is sharing the island's hidden corners, flavors, and traditions in a way that feels both personal and unforgettable. With over a decade of experience in storytelling, education, and creating meaningful connections, I founded Real Wanderers in 2021, an idea that began with small, family-friendly experiences and quickly grew into a collection of immersive journeys designed for curious travelers. As someone who calls this island home, my goal is simple: to welcome you as a guest but leave you feeling like a local.

“We had an amazing time doing the Naxos Family Experience in Eggares Olive Oil Museum. I highly recommend this experience. Katerina was an incredible host and so good with our 3-year-old. It was educational, we had tasty local food made with the olive oil they make there, drinks, we played Ancient Greek games, and made a lot of great memories.”

The kids played at their beautiful backyard, they did gardening, crafting and learned a lot about Ancient Greece, while we were relaxing under their olive trees.”
