Indulge in an entertaining and adventurous kayak expedition, as you explore the Akrotiri coastline, snorkel in its waters, take a refreshing swim, and enjoy a lovely picnic amidst the stunning surroundings of Santorini!
Upon picking you up from your lodging at 10:00 in the morning, we will make our way toward the Akrotiri region's Kampia Beach , which serves as our starting point.
Once we arrive, we will provide you with all the kayaking and safety equipment, as well as snorkeling gear if requested, and will be all set to commence our kayaking excursion.
We begin a voyage of discovery by visiting the highly acclaimed ' Red Beach ' on the southern coast, which is our first destination. Following that, we will paddle along the Akrotiri shoreline, admiring the scenic views of White Beach and Mesa Pigadia , providing opportunities for swimming and snorkeling. Prior to proceeding to our next destination, we will have a beachside picnic comprising of local and organic products to recharge our energy!
Having gained a burst of energy from our homemade picnic, we're prepared to resume paddling. Our return journey is made more enjoyable by the tale of how this distinctive volcanic island came to be. Finally, we arrive at the final destination, "Black Mountain" , where we can explore several delightful caves and impressive rock formations along the way. Upon arriving at our base, feel free to change back to dry clothes before we transport you back to your hotel at approximately 17:00 .
Make sure to bring appropriate water shoes, a change of clothes in case of getting wet, a swimsuit, and sunglasses!
Kambia is a lovely, little beach characterized by crystal-clear waters, large volcanic pebbles and is surrounded by cliffs that provide partial natural shade. Since its seabed is rocky, there is a makeshift platform for easy access to the water.
Red beach is one of the most scenic and interesting beaches on the island, located near Akrotiri village. The reason for its popularity is its colour!
Its name reveals the spectacle you face when you get there. It is white pebbled surrounded by white towering cliffs that form a beautiful, small cove and provide partial shade.
Ideal for those who wish to avoid crowded, cosmopolitan beaches and prefer picturesque, tranquil places where they can enjoy peacefulness, relaxation and privacy.
Once your booking is complete, you will receive the voucher, which includes the meeting point, time and supplier’s contact information, at your email address. You need to have it with you, in paper form or in digital form.
If you cancel at least 2 day(s) in advance of the scheduled date, there is no cancellation fee. If you cancel within 2 day(s) of the scheduled date, there is a 100 percent cancellation fee. Due to unpredictable weather conditions, if the local Authorities prohibit the activity from operating, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule to a later date (subject to availability). If you fail to appear at the designated meeting point for the activity, your booking will be considered a no-show, and the full amount will be charged.
