The excursion starts from the picturesque old port of Santorini. This port is only accessible by cable car , which is the most common way as it takes only 3 minutes to go down, or you have to descend 587 steps on foot. Important note: You have to pay 10€ more per way for the cable car ticket. Gialos, the Old Port, lies below Fira , nestled at the foot of a rocky cliff. You will be surprised by the steep slopes of the Caldera and, finally, the tiny port will appear under these huge rocks and the cave houses that seem to dangle on the cliff. There, the guides of your excursion will be waiting for you, to give you all the important information and to orientate you on the boat. For more information or clarifications, please don’t hesitate to visit our travel agency which is located down at the port.
Our first destination will be the famous volcano of Santorini ! After sailing for 20 minutes, we will reach Nea Kammeni’s jetty. Should you be interested to be guided to the volcano, you will have to pay 5 euros per person as an entrance fee. Then, you will walk to the volcano’s ridge with your guide who is going to explain everything about the history and the geology of the volcano. You will stay at the volcanic island for 1.5 hours and after that, you will embark again for the next stop.
Our next stop will be the island of Palaia Kammeni, where the famous hot springs are located on the west side, a place that is really popular for its thermal waters. We will stop there for 30 minutes, at a distance of 30 meters from the shallow waters of Agios Nicholaos Beach. Take a dive off the boat and feel the warmth of these extraordinary waters. The waters are also full of sulfur, iron, and other metals coming from the volcano which are very good for the skin, rheumatism, arthritis, and other physical pains. Important Note: In order to reach Agios Nicholaos Beach, it is essential to have very good swimming skills.
The next stop is the island of Therasia . Therasia is a miniature of what Santorini used to be several years ago. Today it is a virgin island, still untouched by tourism and modern lifestyle. The island of Therasia is only 9 sq. km in size and has approximately 300 permanent inhabitants. We will stay there for 2 hours, so as to explore this picturesque and traditional village as well as to taste the authentic Santorinian cuisine. Should you wish, you can also walk around the main village of Manolas, which is the capital of Therasia. The view of Santorini is spectacular from there .
The tour will conclude at the Old Port of Fira. If you have a transfer service , the boat will dock at Athinios Port , where buses will be waiting to take you back to your destinations. Otherwise, you are free to arrange your own transport.

On the island of Palaia Kammeni there are hot springs known for their beneficial and therapeutic effects. The waters there contain sulfur and you can please yourself with an alternative mud bath.
We will stop in Thirasia for 2 hours, where you can eat in the picturesque small taverns near the port or visit the village Manolas

We enjoyed a wonderful day on the Santorini Volcano Boat Tour including Hot Springs & Therasia. The weather was fantastic . The organization of the tour was excellent. We enjoyed all aspects of the tour -the hike to the volcano, the swim in the hot springs and the opportunity to enjoy a meal in Therasia. We thoroughly enjoyed the boat tour from Therasia back to Fira. What a fantastic day!
Once your booking is complete, you will receive the voucher, which includes the meeting point, time and supplier’s contact information, at your email address. You need to have it with you, in paper form or in digital form.
If you cancel at least 24 hours before the starting time of the activity, there is no cancellation fee. For cancelations less than 24 hours before the starting time of the activity, there is a 100 percent cancellation fee. Due to unpredictable weather conditions, if the local Authorities prohibit the activity from operating, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule to a later date (subject to availability). If you fail to appear at the designated meeting point for the activity, your booking will be considered a no-show, and the full amount will be charged.
Full names of the passengers (as shown on their passport or id). Passengers need to have onboard with them their passport or id or a copy of them, in case the Port Authority runs a check on the boat. A picture on their mobile will suffice.
