“We booked a private family fishing tour to avoid the crowds of the large catamaran trips. October is a more relaxed period, though still quite busy. It was a very nice day at sea. No big catch this time (fishing is unpredictable) but we had a great time with Nikos, Elias, and Mohamed, who were friendly and attentive. It was fascinating to see the net removal process and the few fish that were caught. The BBQ was fantastic, with generous portions and delicious fresh food. I also really enjoyed my swimming and snorkeling time while the crew was preparing the meal. Overall, a great and authentic experience, even if prices are typical Santorini prices.”
