This one-of-a-kind Mediterranean experience will begin with a pick-up from your hotel in Santorini at the agreed-upon time. A friendly, professional driver will wait for you, welcoming you to embark upon a sailing experience you will never forget!
After your convenient hotel pick-up, you’ll be transferred directly to the port of embarkation, usually Ammoudi Port . Please note that if Ammoudi Port is not accessible for any reason, embarkation or disembarkation may take place at Vlychada Marina instead. As the cruise unfolds, you will get the chance to explore the island’s coastline and witness the breathtaking beauty of the Caldera . You can also swim in the therapeutic waters of the Hot Springs and have the time of your life at Therasia Island .
Towards the end of the cruise, you will be served a delicious Greek meal on board , including chicken fillet, tzatziki, beans, stuffed vine leaves, salad, and fruits. Special dietary meals are also available upon request. You can also chill on the deck and enjoy local white wine and your favorite soft drinks with your loved ones.
Apart from the complimentary transportation service from and to the hotel, you will receive snorkeling gear and maps of Santorini. Additionally, the experienced captain will accompany you on the cruise, sharing interesting information about the island.
You can choose between the following two cruise options, depending on your needs, requirements, and preferences:
The day cruise starts at 10.30 from Vlychada Marina, sailing towards the Red beach and the White beach . You can take some great photos with your partner or your friends, there, before we go on to pass by and explore the 19th-century lighthouse and stop for a refreshing swim at Mesa Pigadia Beach .
The next stop will be the Santorini Volcano & Hot Springs . The vibrant essence of the volcanic sea will awaken your soul, leaving you enchanted. The traditional wooden boat will then continue sailing towards Therasia Island, where you can swim and capture some fantastic photos of the natural landscape. Then, a hearty meal will be served on board before the cruise leaves for the disembarkation port. This fun-filled tour will end at 15:30.
The sunset cruise starts from Ammoudi Port, or from Vlychada Marina, depending on accessibility, at 15.30. The boat will sail towards Therasia Island and Palea Kameni, while a soul-awakening experience awaits you at the volcano and Hot Springs. Enjoying the sun and the sea simultaneously, you will be left mesmerized by the unique beauty of the volcanic area.
The boat will then head south, crossing the Ancient Lighthouse , the famous Indian rock, the Red beach, and the White beach. Lastly, before entering Vlychada Marina, you will witness one of the most beautiful sunsets of your life. The cruise will end after you enjoy delectable Greek dishes on board.

- 1Ammoudi Bay in Oia
The sunset cruise departs from Ammoudi Port, located beneath Oia, or, in case Ammoudi is unavailable for any reason, it may start from Vlychada Marina, following an alternative route.
- 2Therasia island
Therasia is a small, unimproved island (only 300 residents more or less live here) that sticks with tradition and authenticity. We will stop there for swimming.
- 3Hot Springs & Volcano
You will set sail for the well-known volcano and its healing Hot Springs for a therapeutic mud bath
- 4Indian Rocks & Akrotiri Lighthouse
Explore the unmanned volcanic beaches where the spectacular colors will amaze you or you can just sunbath on the deck
- 5Mesa Pigadia beach
A stop at Mesa Pigadia to Jump in and swim in the waters of a private beach then get ready for your delicious lunch on board.
- 6White Beach
White Beach is surrounded by white towering cliffs that form a beautiful, small cove and provide partial shade. We will sail near to it so you can admire the view.
- 7Red Beach
Red beach is one of the most scenic and interesting beaches on the island, located near Akrotiri village. You will sail by and take some great photos!
- 8Sunset onboard (Sunset Option)
Before returning to the port, you will watch a magnificent sunset in the middle of the Aegean Sea.
- 9Vlychada Marina
The cruise ends at Vlychada Marina.

- The map depicts the course of the Sunset cruise. The Morning or Day cruise follows the exact opposite route

Absolutely unforgettable experience with Caldera Traditional Cruise in Santorini! From the moment we stepped onboard, the crew made us feel welcomed, relaxed, and genuinely cared for. The entire evening felt magical. The views of the caldera at sunset were beyond breathtaking — truly one of the most beautiful experiences we’ve ever had. Once your booking is complete, you will receive the voucher, which includes the meeting point, time and supplier’s contact information, at your email address. You need to have it with you, in paper form or in digital form.
Cancellation
If you cancel at least 2 day(s) in advance of the scheduled date, there is no cancellation fee. If you cancel within 2 day(s) of the scheduled date, there is a 100 percent cancellation fee. Due to unpredictable weather conditions, if the local Authorities prohibit the activity from operating, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule to a later date (subject to availability). If you fail to appear at the designated meeting point for the activity, your booking will be considered a no-show, and the full amount will be charged.
Passport or Id
Full names of the passengers (as shown on their passport or id). Passengers need to have onboard with them their passport or id or a copy of them, in case the Port Authority runs a check on the boat. A picture on their mobile will suffice.
